The Shepherd Series was painted in the summer of 2026 from a place of quiet trust while living in a place of unknowns. In a personal season of what is next, and what will come of this, what will life look like in 12 months? From this place of questioning, I was reminded daily in my spirit that the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. This small reminder was enough - and I love that the Word truly takes on a life of its own when it is integrated into our deepest knowing. I will never understand how in some seasons, the Word acts as a true balm and can be all we need.
